Our story

A family based on chaos and sometimes peace 😄

Welcome to the Schouw family — David, Jolene, Damon and Daniel, proudly based in Sybrand Park, Rondebosch, one of Cape Town's most beautiful leafy suburbs.

David and Jolene have been married since 1998 and have called Sybrand Park home for over 21 years. Between running a travel company, testing software, working and studying, life in the Schouw household is never dull — but it's always full of heart.

When we're not busy with the everyday, you'll find us swimming, reading, or gathered around a good braai. We also have a fully equipped music studio at home — with keyboards, guitars, a saxophone and a violin — because life is simply better with music in it.

And no Schouw household would be complete without a pet — meet Kellog, our beloved corn snake, who keeps life interesting and guests on their toes! 🐍

Software Test Analyst by trade, and the steady backbone of the Schouw family. David keeps everything running smoothly — at work and at home.

CEO of her own travel company LTTW, Jolene brings adventure, warmth and unstoppable energy to everything she does — from running a business to running the family.

The eldest Schouw son, Damon works in admin at Bothners and brings a calm, reliable presence to the family — always there when it counts.
